Situated on the limestone/clay hills of Tessarolo, 300 metres above sea level with a south/south-west exposition, the vineyards of Tenuta San Pietro are cultivated according to entirely organic and bio-dynamic practices. A mid-September harvest preceeds light crushing and stainless-steel-tank fermentation with only natural yeasts. Only 60,000 bottles are produced per vintage, each of which are individually numbered.
In the glass, this wine is a beautiful, vibrant golden colour. The nose is intense yet elegant - a striking mix of ripe stone fruit and floral notes. The palate is lively, with an attack of white peach, pineapple and white flowers followed by a hint of minerality prior to a spicy, rich, harmonious finish that is both complex and persistent.
